- An excellent reference, well organized, with some history, construction
techniques and design details that make adobe living unique and aesthetically
satisfying.
•'New Mexico Style' A Sourcebook of Traditional Architectural
Details. Nancy Hunter Warren.
- Black and white photographs of exquisite detailing in traditional
adobe homes. The details that make an authentic adobe -- authentic and
soulful.
•'Pueblo Architecture and Modern Adobes' Joseph Traugott.
- The residential designs of william lumpkins. This book is full of
floor plans and elevation sketches of a wide variety of adobe designs.
It illustrates the tremendous flexibility of the adobe medium in curves,
free form design and compatibility with surroundings.
•'Mexican Color' Photographs by Amanda Holmes, Essay
by Elena Poniatowska.
- Delicious, deeply saturated color photographs of a wonderful variety
of buildings. This book beautifully illustrates the special relationship
