I bring the best of all worlds to real estate. Not only have I educated myself beyond the usual facets of Tucson real estate but I have solid experience in residential design and construction.

As an Arizona resident for the last 14 years, I began designing and building custom homes here in Tucson in 1990 through my Artesanos, Inc., a general contracting company. I still hold a valid general contractor's license in Arizona.

Before moving to Tucson, I operated Design Associates in Durango, Colorado designing and building custom homes in the San Juan Mountains. I have been involved in the residential housing industry all my life, as my father was an architect/builder and started me in an apprenticeship when I was 14.

I worked with Jay Lynch on solar design in the early days of solar architecture in Southwest Colorado. Living in some of my designs has given me a unique perspective on home design but my affinity for adobe construction and performance led me to build, remodel, and be involved in the design of adobe structures. I take great joy in working with people to find you the perfect home.

ABR – Accredited Buyers Representative
This is the benchmark in excellence in buyer representation.

CLSS – Certified Land Sales Specialist
I am legally certified to sell land for new home sites and investments. With a CLSS,
I dig deeper (pun intended) to learn more about the land’s environmental impact, surveying, flooding, topography, and determine the suitability for different uses.

GRI – Graduate Realtor Institute
A professional designation granted to a member of the National Association of Realtors® who has successfully completed three courses covering law, finance, and principles of real estate.

CRS – Certified Residential Specialist
A professional designation awarded to experienced agents who complete an advanced course of study in residential real estate and demonstrate proficiency in sales and production. It’s like having a Ph.D. in residential sales.
